The Cottage
Sleepy Lagoon Cottage is perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! Guests are welcomed by rocking chairs, a front porch swing and ceiling fans. Inside, the Cottage is spacious, offering 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. (There is also a separate small bedroom area with a twin daybed with twin trundle just off the master bedroom upstairs.) The Cottage offers all the amenities of home, from all necessary cookware, serving ware and appliances in the kitchen to extra linens and towels for each bedroom. The Cottage has a carport and ample space for extra parking. There is a charcoal BBQ grill as well as a large Blackstone griddle and outdoor refrigerator for guests to enjoy. If you’re wanting to explore even more of the grounds, you’ll want to stroll to the back of the property, where you’ll find the cliffs overlooking the Little Bogue Falaya River. Sleepy Lagoon is the perfect setting to get ready on your special day! Most brides choose to spend the day in the Main House with their bridesmaids while the groom and his groomsmen enjoy the grounds and get ready down at the Cottage. There are beautiful spaces for taking wedding party photos before heading to the ceremony!

Host your next small event with us! The Main House can accommodate groups up to 50. From baby showers and family reunions to private dinners and corporate retreats, we’ve got you covered!

Photographers welcome! Consider Sleepy Lagoon for family photo shoots, bridal portraits, engagement pics, and boudoir sessions. Commercial video/film/photo shoots approved upon request.
